Started playing acoustic guitar a few years ago back in Sept 2015. So much fun, so easy, and not expensive (with basic guitar). Youtube for lessons is your friend. Check out my Guitar links page if you are also a rock god.

Have you heard of Jamulus? – spreading the news:
Very cool, free, online Jamming software. All and any types of instrument or vocals. It’s interface and look/feel reminds me of the old IRC app,approach to channels or whatever they were called, except, the channels are used for “… playing, rehearsing, or just jamming with your friends, your band or anyone you find online”.
My acoustic guitar doesn’t have an electronic pickup, so, I am joining for now w/ a headset only. I can still speak w/ folks and play, but the guitar is pretty much buried in the sounds of others w/ real audio equipment that simultaneously allow for voice and instruments feeds. To fix this, I am looking at getting the $170 (CDN) pre-amplifier shown below.
